I like a flat
But I haven't a hat

Though a cold it gives me again and again.

When it purrs on the mat
Or sleeps in the windowsill
Very, very still
Or when it is hungry for food

Or as it lap's milk
As I stroke it, it feels like silk.
As I was walking down a lane
I saw a rabbit
Johnny is his name
I like this rabbit
And he likes me.
I saw this rabbit again the next day
He was a-playing
A-playing was he
So I said "Please little rabbit
May I play"
I like this rabbit
And he likes me
O what a lovely game we had
Then he told me
His finger was bad
And it hurt. It hurt so much
I like this rabbit
And he likes me.
